It’s
hard to put into words what a dog like Star has meant to me and to my
breeding program. The legacy that she leaves behind her is in the quality
and soundness of her children, and now seen in her grandchildren.
Star was Show Dam of the Year in 1996, tied for runner-up Show Dam
of the Year in 1997, and 1998. She
is the dam of 13 champions, many of which hold specialty majors and
sweepstake wins, Best of Breed awards, group wins and placements.
Star had the love and nurture of a mother and the heart of a
champion. As the only puppy in her litter, we were truly blessed to have owned
her and loved her. Star is a
specialty and group winning bitch who was 4th in both Group and
Breed competition for Springer bitches in 1990, and 3rd in
group, 8th in breed competition in 1991.
